A double overdrive with unbelievable clarity
In response to demand from TwinStomp fans we are proud to announce the TwinStomp S21 OVERDRIVE. Two completely independent and unique overdrives plus true by-pass, all wrapped up in theTwinStomp stainless steel case.
The S21 Overdrive has two analogue overdrive channels. Channel 2 has more edge than Channel 1. Both have crystal clear level control up to 26dB.
Both overdrives have drive controls which allow adjustment between pretty clean and very overdriven. The tone controls provide fairly subtle tone shaping.

o The TwinStomp S21 OVERDRIVE provides TWO COMPLETELY INDEPENDENT SWITCHABLE OVERDRIVES plus True By Pass. Overdrive 1 has a beautiful mellow basic tone. Overdrive 2 has a little more edge. Both Overdrives are unbelievably transparent. They both have three controls.
Drive Control – From almost clean to plenty of crunch.
Tone Control – Pretty subtle allowing softening (Gives a nice fine control on the Overdrive’s basic tone)
Level Control – Output volume controlled from zero to +16dB (Drive minimum) and +26dB (Drive maximum)
o TwinStomp S21 OVERDRIVE has a unique TwinStomp Effects designed circuit using one dual op-amp for both overdrives whilst minimising the semiconductors through which the guitar signal passes.
This is where a TwinStomp S21 OVERDRIVE gets its signature clarity.
o Two LEDs are provided indicating which Overdrive is in standby or which is active.
o Low battery drain. An On-Off toggle switch is provided to allow the 9 Volt supply (Either battery or external supply) to be switched off without disconnecting input lead. You can leave your rig connected without fear of draining your battery.
o Sounds great when operating on 9V battery. 9Vdc input socket is supplied for those who prefer to provide power from other sources.
o Handwired providing extremely reliable interconnections. Wiring is threaded through through the circuit boards to ensure none of the solder joints can be stressed.
o Purpose designed stainless steel enclosure, provides:
- Extremely robust construction
- Non slip feet which can be removed to allow permanent fixing to a pedal board
- Unique battery holder – (UK Patent Application GB2449236) – battery can be replaced quickly without the removal of the base

o Two purpose designed TwinStomp S21 OVERDRIVE (copyright) printed circuit boardsmanufactured by ISO9001:2000 registered firm in England.
o Supplied with Test Certificate giving full final test results. Every pedal is permanently serial numbered and full records are maintained of build configuration and test results. Circuits are fully tested twice. We are looking for clean unclipped signals from sine and square wave inputs. Our quality assurance testing is conducted at 20hz, 200hz, 2khz and 4khz for our standard pedal.
Our resident guitarist puts every pedal through its paces on a valve amplifier before signing the Test Certificate.
