Bulldog Pickups is owned and run by Hayden Minett. Hayden is a performer, demonstrator, teacher, sound engineer and product developer who has worked directly or indirectly for companies and institutions such as Matamp, the University of Leeds, Bretton Hall College, Robert Keeley UK, Tokai UK, Ashdown/Hayden amplification and Bare Knuckle Pickups. He cares about tone an has created a range of guitar pickups that deliver great sound and get the most from your guitar – helping you nearer to the sound in your head.
All Bulldog pickups feature high quality components such as custom stamped solid nickel silver baseplates, nickel silver covers, hand scatterwound coils, and every pickup is played by Hayden in a specially prepared test guitar to make sure it has great Bulldog tone. Custom wire gauge and windings can be early 60′s, Late 60′s, Modern or anything you can think of. Alnico 2,3 or 5 can be used.
